James L. Jamerson

James L. Jamerson is Vice President for Business Development, Middle East & Africa, Lockheed Martin. In this capacity, he supports the corporation's business development activities in the region as well as coordinating customer support in the Washington area. He has over thirty years of international political-military experience, to include responsibility for United States Air Force security assistance programs in the Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

Before joining Lockheed Martin, Jim served as the Deputy Commander in Chief, United States European Command, Stuttgart-Vaihingen, Germany with responsibilities encompassing the nations of Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His distinguished military career included positions as Commander United States Air Forces in Europe, Commander Allied Air Forces Central Europe (NATO), and Commander 12th Air Force as well as senior staff assignments in the Pacific, Europe and Washington.

Jim was born and raised in Chapel Hill, N.C., and is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. He holds a master's degree in Business Administration from Auburn University and studied international relations at Georgetown University. Jim and his wife Lynda have a daughter, Bridget (and three grandchildren), and a son, James.
